Phil's Foreign Car Service began simply. Like many self-made businessmen, Phil Hunt was able to transition a passion --the love of automobiles and
racing -- into a successful career and business.

Owner Phil Hunt's affinity for the racing world started at the age of 13 while watching the Daytona Races on television with his father, a high school automotive teacher.

Later, as a pre-veterinary major at Muhlenburg College with fourth quarter finals coming up, Phil could be found in his dorm room rebuilding a Sprite transmission rather than studying.

One thing led to another, and in March of 1971 this amateur race car driver found himself in the automotive repair business. Back then you could buy a brand new Volkswagen Beetle for about $1900. Repairing Beetles, Vanagons, buses, and camper-buses was good business!

Over the years, Phil has expanded his knowledge base to include five of Europe's most prestigious automobile makes, building a solid reputation for high-quality service on Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, Mercedes, and BMW automobiles.
